The opening ceremony of the XVI Paralympic Games began amidst multicolored lights. The Mexican delegation entered the Tokyo Olympic Stadium led by Amalia Perez and Juan Diego Garcia, the athletes in charge of carrying the Mexican flag in the summer competition.
