#OMG: A child breaks the record for the longest plank in the world
This eleven-year-old boy has set an impressive new record for the world's longest plank. Eleven-year-old Abdul-Rakhim Getagazov, also from Ingushetia (Russia), was able to do a plank for an incredible 11 hours and 11 minutes. Blogger Akhmed Osmiev, 35, from Magas (Ingushetia, Russia), witnessed the incredible moment when the future athlete smashed the world record in almost two hours. The previous record for the longest plank in the world stood for nine hours and 30 minutes. Akhmed believes the young man who broke the record could be an Olympic athlete in the not too distant future. Akhmed said, "Abdul-Rakhim set a new absolute world record, among all ages, for holding the plank position for 11 hours, 11 minutes and 11 seconds." "During the time of the competition, when asked what his dream was, Abdul-Rakhim said it was to set the record and become an Olympic wrestling champion. The record has been set and I believe he is capable of getting the Olympic gold."
