Magnitude 7.5 earthquake strikes northern Peru

Damage is concentrated in several municipalities in the Amazonas region, in northern Peru, close to the epicenter of the earthquake, located 98 kilometers east of the town of Santa Maria de Nieva, where the earthquake was felt with very strong intensity.
