RUSSIA demands that UKRAINE recognize independence of DONETSK and LUGANSK, and CRIMEA as RUSSIAN

Russia announces new conditions. The Kremlin assures that it will stop its offensive if Kiev recognizes Crimea as Russian territory and the independence of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions in the Donbas. Moscow also asks Ukraine to be neutral and to modify its Constitution in order to renounce its future NATO membership. Ukrainian President Volodomir Zelenski has responded that he does not accept an ultimatum from Putin, and asks him to facilitate dialogue. Russian President Vladimir Putin backs his army, says that they do not attack civilians and that it is Ukrainian soldiers who use them as human shields. He also denies that he will send conscripts or reservists to Ukraine, only professional military personnel
