Girl With Muscular Dystrophy Meets DAVID BECKHAM

This girl was starstruck when former footballer, David Beckham, stopped by to meet her at the Who Cares Wins awards ceremony in 2021. Carmela Watson, seven, from Surrey, UK, has a type of muscular dystrophy (LMNA-CMD) which causes rapid muscle deterioration, meaning her ability to walk is now extremely low. Although Carmela can walk short distances, she tires incredibly quickly from the physical toll it takes on her body.
