Rusia responde a EEUU: Pagará su deuda externa en rublos, tras eliminar la exención

Russia replies that it will pay its foreign debt in rubles. On the deadline day Russia will be pushed into default after the U.S. Treasury Department signaled that it will allow a key sanctions waiver benefiting U.S. investors to expire. Thus, U.S. banks and citizens will not be able to accept bond payments from the Russian government after 12:01 a.m. New York time on Wednesday, when a license that has so far allowed cash to flow ends.
