BTS at the White House Joe Biden Hosts Idols and ARMY Goes Wild
ARMY proud! BTS marked a new career milestone by being invited by President Joe Biden to officially meet at the White House. As part of their official schedule in May, BTS members V, Suga, Jungkook, Jin, RM, Jimin and J Hope took a break from their activities to meet in Washington D.C. in order to attend the official event hosted by the U.S. government. The representatives of the South Korean music scene arrived at the White House to meet with President Joe Biden and be interviewed by Karine Jean-Pierre, press secretary. This event marks the singers' calendar before their expected comeback in June. They are also gearing up for the release of their album "Proof". During the live broadcast via YouTube, the members participated in the activities and discussions that concern the society. They thanked their fans from all over the world for the support, breaking down cultural barriers with their music. "Everyone has their own story and we respect each one of them," they stated in the message they issued. ARMYs from different parts of the world joined the chain of comments to congratulate the members for this appearance with Biden. They shared images and messages wishing them well and celebrating their achievements. A large number of fans even came to Washington to see and support them. BTS leader RM even starred in hilarious memes that quickly circulated on the Internet.
