A moment of silence was held to honor victims of gun violence before members of the crowd became startled and started running. A voice quickly came over the loudspeakers urging attendees not to run, saying, “There is no issue here.” According to reports a person in the crowd yelled “gun shot,” prompting the panic. The event resumed as scheduled following the incident.
