Gadafi's daughter: "I did not try to flee Libya"

Aisha al-Gaddafi told Libyan state television that she was 'steadfastly here' and denounced reports from foreign sources that she travelled to Malta. She was also asked about the UN's decision to drop her as a goodwill ambassador but denied any knowledge of the decision. UN spokesman Martin Nesirky confirmed on Wednesday that the UNDP's agreement with Aisha al-Gaddafi had been terminated following recent events in Libya.
