Deer Prances in Puddle After Rain Finally Hits Texas
Deer Prances in Puddle After Rain Finally Hits Texas A white-tailed deer appeared to be pretty excited after a downpour broke the drought in Dripping Springs, Texas, on August 22, with video showing it prancing about in a puddle. Tina Rounsaville and her husband were at home when they noticed the deer’s amusing behavior in their front yard. The video, recorded by Rounsaville, shows several placid deer, with the exception of one seen splashing about in the puddle. Rounsaville told Storyful: “This was taken around 5:30 pm. It was after the first good soaker. Dripping Springs is the gateway to Hill County, and we have been experiencing a pretty bad drought this summer.” She explained that she and her husband have been living in Dripping Springs for over 30 years, and are surrounded by white-tailed deer. “We’ve never enjoyed anything like that,” she said, “she pranced and played for three to five minutes.” “Luckily, my husband asked me to video before it was over.”
