The arrested man is a former non-commissioned officer of the Peruvian National Police internationally wanted for the commission of 10 murders when he was part of an illegal group called the "Death Squad", allegedly dedicated to gaining promotions and decorations for its members through the extrajudicial execution of alleged criminals.
