Footage shows people swimming to safety after India bridge collapse

At least 40 people were killed when a bridge in the Indian state of Gujarat collapsed on 30 October, plunging hundreds of people into a river. More than 400 people were on the suspension bridge over the Machchhu River in the town of Morbi at the time of the collapse, local TV channel Zee News said.
