Rapper Shot at Youth Program Recorded Song With Cop in 2021

As a shooting victim continues to recover, police released a song he wrote with one of their officers. William Holmes is also known as Will Keeps, a rapper and activist in Des Moines, Iowa. He founded Starts Right Here, a program for disadvantaged high school students in the city to help them get and stay on the right path in life. In 2021, Holmes collaborated with Des Moines Police Officer Mike Moody to create this song called Not Your Enemy.
