"Located!", the cry of hope of the Spanish rescue teams in Turkey.

Every time a dog goes under the collapsed buildings in Turkey, there is one of those silences that stop time until the barking sounds that have detected life and the rescue begins through a narrow and dangerous passage of rubble. One of the Turkish volunteers accompanying the rescue team asks a question, and a distant-sounding voice directs them to a destination several meters below: "One hundred percent confirmed. There are three people. Crawling through the destruction, they approach the voice, locate the survivor and give her juice to hydrate her after almost 100 hours buried. Little by little, Spanish rescuers free a 12-year-old girl and her father. Or another 25-year-old who is being cared for next to the earthquake ruins. "People are desperately walking down the street looking for help. We get stopped everywhere," says Ramón Pérez, head of the UREC Unit of the Valencia Fire Department. And they respond to that call for help. They track down every crack and celebrate every intervention that ends in life.
