UKRAINE WAR: KIEV considers visit to OCCUPIED TERRITORY a PROVOCATION
The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has made his first trip to the Donbas since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, where he visited the port city of Mariupol, taken by Moscow last year after fierce Ukrainian resistance. The president arrived by helicopter and drove through several neighborhoods of this town, located in the south of the Donetsk region, on the shores of the Azov Sea, according to the press office of the Russian Government. He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Jusnulin, who briefed him on the progress of construction and reconstruction works in and around Mariupol.
