Florida bans the use of TikTok and five other Chinese apps in state universities

The measure goes into effect immediately and prohibits students at state universities in Florida from using the campus WiFi network, or the institutions' devices, to access the Chinese apps TikTok, We Chat, Tencent QQ, VKontakte and Kapersky, citing security concerns.
