AMLO - Mexico seeks formal response from China on fentanyl

Following the response from the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman in which she assured that there is no illicit trafficking of fentanyl from China to Mexico and that the United States should take care of the problem, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador refused to take this as a response to her letter and said that they are seeking to establish communication with the government of Xi Jinping to have a clear position.
