Hailstorm in Sant Hilari Sacalm, Selva, Catalonia, Spain

A heavy hailstorm surprised the residents of Sant Hilari Sacalm (Selva) this Wednesday afternoon, leaving the streets of the municipality flooded. The heavy rain has forced the Bombers to mobilize six teams, who have had to remove the accumulated water after the drains have been rendered useless. The warning was given around half past four in the afternoon, when the heavy rain fell in the municipality of La Selva. Despite the effects of the hailstorm, there were no injuries and the firefighters only acted to rescue the occupants of a vehicle.
