Paris bursts into flames after police fatally shoot a teen in traffic stop

Protesters took to the streets in the Paris suburbs on June 27, 2023, after police fatally shot a 17-year-old during a traffic stop. The police officer responsible is under investigation for homicide. Thirty-one people have been arrested, while 40 cars were burned down during the unrest.
