Monsoon rains bring deadly floods and landslides to northern India

Torrential monsoon rains flooded parts of northern India on July 9, 2023, killing at least 19 people. The area has also been hit by landslides triggered by the rain and the capital New Delhi has reportedly seen its heaviest recorded rainfall in decades.
