News - North Korea deports US soldier Travis King

US soldier Travis King was deported from North Korea on September 27, 2023, and is now in American custody, according to two US officials. The soldier dashed into North Korean territory from the south in July. State media KCNA said King admitted to illegal intrusion and was “disillusioned about unequal U.S. society”.
