Suspension of electricity and tax payments in Acapulco confirmed by AMLO

AMLO presented a plan to rebuild Acapulco, #Guerrero. The plan includes support of over 35,000 pesos to repair houses, weekly food basket deliveries, a package of household items, tax forgiveness, increased security, and the suspension of some taxes until February 2024 and the suspension of electricity payments until January 2023. "No taxes will be collected from October to February 2024. No tax and other fees will be collected in Acapulco and others," said #AMLO. A National Guard barracks will be established to restore peace and will oversee gas stations and freight transport.
