Filipino journalist killed while on air

Filipino journalist and popular radio broadcaster Juan Jumalon was shot by an unidentified assailant while broadcasting from his home on November 5, 2023. Jumalon is the fourth journalist to be killed in the Philippines since President Ferdinand Marcos Jnr took office in June 2022.
