Christmas Presents Saved by Deputies and Firefighters

A mother and her three children may have lost their car, but they didn’t lose their Christmas presents. Bystanders helped the woman and her children out of the car to safety. Once first responders arrived, they took on another task, saving the Christmas presents that were sinking as the car filled with water. Ormond Beach firefighters and Volusia County Sheriff’s deputies formed a human chain to move the gifts to dry land.
