Race horse jumps into crowd: Dramatic amateur video

Australian animal rights activists are calling for a ban on horse jumps racing after a terrifying accident at a steeplechase event in the southern state of Victoria. Seven racegoers were taken to hospital when a horse jumped over a high fence into a crowd of about 50 spectators during the Grand Annual Steeplechase at Warrnambool racetrack on Thursday. The most serious injury was to a 2-year-old girl, who suffered a fractured collarbone.
