Video of Ratko Mladic appearing at Hague tribunal for 1st time
Radko Mladic has gone before the Hague tribunal for the first time, and claimed he's gravely ill. The former Bosnian-Serb army general also stated he won't enter a plea to what he called the 'obnoxious' charges against him. Mladic said he needs more time to understand the charges he's facing. A new hearing has now been set for the 4th of July. He's indicted on 11-counts of war crimes including the genocide of around 8000 Muslims. He'd been on the run for 16 years and his arrest and extradition was touted by the EU as a key objective for Serbia to gain membership to the club.
