Chemical poison? Yellow cloud chokes Russian Urals
At least one hundred people sought medical help and eight were hospitalized after dangerous chemical has leaked from a transport container in the Urals. Up to ten glass containers holding bromine were smashed at a train station in the city of Chelyabinsk. Bromine is a strong-smelling dark-red liquid that changes easily into a gas causing serious breathing difficulties. Chemical cloud has spread for several kilometers leaving a strong unpleasant smell in the air. Citizens are advised to stay home, children have been evacuated from neighboring areas.
