Iggy Pop & The Stooges' Steve Mackay Dies
Iggy Pop is paying tribute to The Stooges' saxophonist Steve Mackay. After being hospitalized last month for sepsis, Mackay passed away over the weekend at the age of 66. Once news broke of the tragic loss of Mackay, The Stooges lead singer took to Twitter to honor the musician saying, “Steve was a classic '60s American guy, full of generosity and love for everyone he met.” Steve made his first appearance with The Stooges on their 1970’s album “Fun House.” Rest in peace.
