Oscar Pistorius Granted Bail...at $688

Just days after South African judges changed their conviction from manslaughter to murder, Oscar Pistorius has managed to dodge prison for less than $700. The Olympic athlete has posted $688 for bail while he awaits sentence for murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Yes, you read it right, bail that is only in the hundreds. Oscar’s lawyer says he will appeal the murder conviction, but the 29 year old faces a minimum of 15 years in prison, which will be decided back in court on April 18th, 2016.
