Netflix Will Produce 'Mystery Science Theater'

The show first started on YouTube, and featured commentators hilariously dubbing over famous films. Joel Hodgson, the original creator of the show, told his fans, “Joel here. It’s been a really busy couple of weeks, and we just finished our third (and last) “Red Carpet Kickstarter Screening” of the first new episode of Mystery Science Theater, Experiment 101. I’ll tell you more about those very soon, but right now, I’m writing to share some very important news: The new season of Mystery Science Theater 3000 will premiere on Netflix on April 14, 2017.
