Heavy D Dies

We've just learned that rap legend, Heavy D passed away at the age of 44. The cause of death remains unknown, however TMZ is reporting that he was rushed to a local Los Angeles hospital after being found unconscious, and that he passed away following his arrival at the medical facility. The LA Coroner also confirmed that Heavy D passed away today and that he last saw his doctor two weeks ago. There has been no mention at this time of foul play, however police are continuing their investigation. This is devastating news for fans and the hip hop community. Heavy just performed at the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales on October 8th. He will surely be missed and remembered for his tracks including "Now that We Found Love," "Who's the Man," "Somebody for Me," and many others.
